2009 Youth Mentoring Conference

The National Youth Mentoring Conference was held on the 12th & 13th August, 2009 at the Centra Airport Auckland. An impressive line-up of National and International speakers shared their presentations to a sold-out event, with an audience of more than 250 attendees. The Youth Mentoring Network were proud to announce that we will be developing a National Register of Mentors, and a Foundation Certificate in Youth Mentoring, which is made up of five individual 1-day workshops, and can be attended by anyone currently registed with the Youth Mentoring Network as a Mentor. Access to this pool of Mentors will benefit programmes Nationwide. A Training Programme will be accessible in the next five weeks, and will be promoted on this website, or you can receive updates from the Youth Mentoring Network via e-Newsletter.
