Welcome to the New Zealand Youth Mentoring Network website. As the national body for Youth Mentoring in New Zealand we work alongside those that work with young people. We aim to provide advice, support, access to best practice resources and training in Mentoring.
Mentoring can have a powerful and positive influence on the lives of young people as they grow and transition into adulthood. If mentoring is an area that interests you - either as a recipient, mentor, programme provider, funder or thinker we need to hear from you.

Two initiatives relating to mentoring are currently in the pipeline. The Ministry of Education has published an RFP for the provision of mentoring services for Māori and Pasifika students, and The Ministry of Health has published an RFI to explore ideas for linking mentoring with the multi-disciplinary Children’s Teams that are being established.Read More
