TYLA has taken a step towards building a better, safer and more sustainable community in the Avondale, Mt Roskill area by establishing a Youth Development Programme and is now expanding to Otara. It is specifically designed to prevent at-risk youth from drifting into a life of crime by providing them with the skills and opportunities necessary for them to "Turn their Lives Around".
