Great Potentials Foundation: MATES
Great Potentials Foundation is a charitable trust for the promotion of education and parental support. We are in communities that need help to unleash the potential of their children, young people and parents. Our purpose is a broad one - Helping children, young people and families towards brighter futures.
We offer various programmes, including MATES (Mentoring and Tutoring Education Scheme), which addresses the underachievement in education of disadvantaged and vulnerable youth in 14 schools across Auckland, New Zealand.

Year 8: the transition from intermediate to high school (MATES Junior)
Year 13: the transition from high school to tertiary education (MATES Senior)
