Mentoring Providers
Springboard
At Springboard we believe that all rangatahi deserve someone in their corner—believing in them, championing them, and helping them hold onto hope. But for some, finding their place in the world is a real challenge. For over 20 years, we’ve supported young people with a vision of building safe, thriving communities for all.
We’re part of a wider network—working with schools, police, businesses, and the community—to support rangatahi through one of life’s toughest transitions: the journey from teen to adult. We walk alongside them, encouraging and challenging them, until they’re ready to see the strength and greatness within themselves.

About the mentoring
We match each young person (9-13 years) with a community volunteer who walks alongside them for 2 hours per week over 12 months.
