Staples Education Foundation
Staples Education Foundation is a tertiary scholarship programme established in 2015. It was created to assist academically talented Year 13 Students School intending to study a tertiary qualification. The scholarship was designed to help recipients transition from school to university, the key objectives being:
• To achieve a tertiary qualification
• To get a job (ultimately securing full-time employment in a career of choice)
• To give back to society

Overview
Established in 2015, Staples Education Foundation is currently supporting three scholarship programmes: the Dilworth and McAuley Tertiary Scholarship and the Auckland Philharmonia Haydn Staples Piano Scholarship. Each has been designed to help the recipients maximise their university educations.

About the mentoring
We mentor Year 13 Students who are a part of Dilworth, McAuley or Auckland Philharmonia scholarship. The expectation is that the mentoring relationship lasts 3 years with monthly meetings, along with weekly contact.
