Te Rongopai Community Trust operates Good News Community Centre in Hamilton. They run a wide range of programmes and services, including te reo Māori classes, fitness classes, an after-school drop-in programme, whānau games and meals, food support, events, and more.

Overview

Youth street is a team of people who are dedicated to making a difference in young peoples lives. It is a mentoring program that helps young people step into all that life has for them weather it be in schooling, trades the work force on just in life in general. Our youth street team is ready to go.

Youth street started as a dream to help the youth community in Nawton and Crawshaw area. Launching 2019 we are so excited to carry the dream into a reality and make a difference.

About the mentoring

Our Youth St mentoring programme supports rangitahi 14-21 using the Te Whare Tapa Wha model of holistic development. With a strong mentor-mentee relationship focused on helping to ensure young people are well supported to transition from school to the next stage of life.
