Season's Greetings from NZYMN
HIGHLIGHTS 2021. Its certainly been a year of two halves. The first half relatively Covid free with workshops and conference going to plan. The second half, with Delta, seeing massive cancellations and postponements.
We were fortunate to be able to hold the INVOLVE Conference in Wellington In August. Over 900 people connected to the youth sector met to network, learn and talk. It was a spectacular gathering enhanced by young voices and youthful poets.
As Delta invaded our shores in August, we were forced to abandon our planned Whai Wāhitanga schedule and Mentor Plus workshops, but the silver lining was that we ventured further into the digital world with a very special mini virtual workshop. It was also great to be able to pilot an ‘in-person’ workshop at the beginning of December in Cromwell, Central Otago, so we know we have a brilliant workshop to roll out across Aotearoa in 2022.
